Brazos Valley Geocachers is a community of local adventurers from Brazos, Robertson, Leon, Madison, Burleson, Washington, and Grimes counties, and the surrounding areas who share a love for exploration, creativity, and the outdoors.
We’re hikers, puzzle-solvers, map nerds, and storytellers.
All connected by one thing: the thrill of the find. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned cacher with thousands of logs, you’re part of the adventure here.
Our Group does not charge any membership fees, and there are no limitations on who can join!
What started as a few friends trading coordinates has grown into a network of geocachers who hide, seek, and celebrate together. From meet-ups and CITO clean-ups to big events like GIFF night and local challenges, we’re all about connecting people through discovery.
We believe that geocaching brings out the best in people — curiosity, teamwork, and appreciation for the world around us.
"To explore, connect, and inspire through geocaching — one cache, one adventure, one story at a time."
We aim to:
Encourage outdoor recreation in the Brazos Valley.
Support creativity in cache design and placement.
Foster a welcoming environment for new players.
Give back to our parks and communities through service and events.
This group is run solely through the sale of our Annual Travel Bugs and the generous donations of our members and sponsors!
We believe in full transparency — want to see where the funds go?
